Alchemy started with a simple, but ambitious mission – to disrupt the circular tech market - making it easier for the biggest tech companies to find better ways to reuse and repurpose devices, reducing the product's impact on the planet. And in giving devices a second life, make access to tech more affordable for consumers and businesses in the form of used and refurbished solutions.

Together, a small team of Alchemists including industry leading experts across strategy, operations, tech and finance, built an industry leading tech and operational infrastructure that has helped Alchemy to become the fastest growing company in the circular tech market. By managing global trade-in programs and recovering over 10 million devices, we’ve saved more than 628M kg of CO2 and paid more than $2bn to customers through trade-in. And we’re only getting started!

  • Alchemy is launched.
  • We launch our trade-in and residual value management software, called Jupiter.
  • Our first global partnership and trade-in program launches with a major OEM with new logistics centres opened across the EU, UK, Australia and Japan.
  • Our enterprise trade-in portal launches in the US, Europe, and the UK.
  • We launch Loop, our B2C ecommerce site across 16 markets.
  • Alchemy Taiwan opens and major new trade-in programs launch across the US and Taiwan.
  • Transition from tech start-up to global industry leader.
  • 2 new distribution centres are added in the US. The number of Alchemists exceeds 300.
  • Open Dubai facility and operations to increase services in the Middle East and Africa.
